Coffee Dinner at Navarre

Stumptown and Navarre Restaurant are trying to figure out what a “Coffee dinner” is. At last count it means seven single-origin coffees paired with seven courses of food and some sparkling wines. John Taboada has been cupping coffees with Duane for the past few weeks to calibrate their palates and on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, they will present us with a question: How challenging is coffee, and how much do we have to learn for coffee to gain a new place at the dinner table? Food and coffee will come first, wine will serve as a complement to cleanse the palate. Dinner starts at 7pm on August 1st and 2nd. Cost is $65, gratuity not included.
